This article deals with the theoretical and practical aspects related to the methodology of using
in the educational act a specific type of didactic means, namely digital teaching tools of own design,
representing the totality of tools, digital resources elaborated by the author, meant to facilitate and
improve instructive process. The data presented in the article are the results of a qualitative research and
analysis related to the application of the elaborated methodology in the formation and development of
professional competencies, namely to the students' performances with reference to this aspect
