In this article it is insisted on the epistemological and metodological references of pupils
formation of the notions, in general and of the literary theory, in particular. In this sense, there are
analyzed several theories launched by A. Cosmovici, P. Botezatu, P. I. Galperin, Zoltan Pal Dienes, etc.
related to the formation of notions. At the same time, there are emphasized the methods of defining the
notions, their typology, the mechanism of their formation, the principles which should be at the basis of
any training model centered on the formation of some concepts. Regarding the formation of the notions of
literary theory, the author refers to several works signed by M. Pavilescu, C. Şchiopu. St. Zlate, M. Zlate.
Thus, there are noticed several methodologies of the formation of the notions of literary theory, the
priority being the one based on the didactic game and the creative exercises
