The article deals with the problem of literary work’s reception by using problematization and algorithmization as teaching methods. First of all, there are analysed several definitions of concerned methods, there is made a reference to their specificity, highlighting the fact that even they are considered by the majority of researches as being traditional, this methods, when used correctly and productively, can have a tremendous impact on the formation of the literature reader, on the development of his critical and analytical thinking. Subsequently there are proposed several methodological suggestions regarding the use of these concerned methods in the reception of literature process. It insisted on several types of problem-questions with reference to the literary work, to the nature of the problem-situation, to the structure, to the stages of work, to the requirements to be respected in case of elaboration / construction of a problem situation by the professor. Simultaneously, there are analysed the advantages of problematization, algorithmisation and PRES method’s.
