Assessment is a fundamental activity of the teacher, regardless of the level of education or the level at which it is carried out. In the university environment, it acquires specific grades, in accordance with the specific situations in which it is carried out, with the psychological profile of those evaluated, with the other curricular components. The study addresses the issue of academic evaluation, from the perspective of the efficiency conditions of the evaluation process. We make specific the specificity of the academic evaluation on the particular situation of the evaluation realized in the context of the initial training of future teachers. In this context, the efficiency conditions identified by us refer to the evaluation forms used, but, in particular, to the methods and tools applied in order to determine the level of performance of the students.
