Abstract
The paper presents the results of the floristic, phytocenological and faunistic researches, which were conducted on the terrain in 2014-2019. In order to conserve the biodiversity of this zone, it was proposed to include the following three sectors in the network of the protected areas: ”Valea Cricova” (63 ha), ”Stânca Ciorescu”(15 ha) and ”Stânca Făurești” (19 ha). All those sectors are of special scientific interest from both the perspective of the flora and vegetation and that of the training of the biology scholars. With the state‟s involvement, it would be possible to protect the rare species of plants; and by banning the limestone extraction from the sector „Stânca Ciorescu”, it would be possible to stop the degradation of the habitat with its entire biodiversity.
